Open Web Joist - Truss Type: OWJ

Open Web Joist (OWJ) is a fabricated joist (truss).
They are manufactured from RHS steel that is welded together to form a structurally strong member.
All of Spanlift’s open web joists are manufactured to specific sizes which means that you can easily extend your building at any given time.
Spanlift’s trusses are uniquely manufactured and hot dip galvanised, which creates the ultimate structural frame.
Open web joist is a lightweight steel truss - consisting of parallel chords and a triangulated web system, proportioned to span between bearing parts. They provide stronger structural integrity by transferring the load to structural columns.
Designed specifically giving consideration to span, joist spacing, slope, live loads, dead loads, collated loads and wind uplift, etc.
